Senior Citizens Railcard - Trainline Deal
6 Answers
Hi people, If you're about to replace your SC railcard (or getting one for the first time as I just have), Trainline are doing a deal - 3 years for £54 instead of £70. Every little helps!
It's best to get the Trainline app first. You'll also need a head-and-shoulders picture of yourself on your phone / tablet. Make a note of the discount code at the start of the process!

Particularly as you do not have to use Trainline (I book my travel direct with the rail companies eg LNER whose "Delay Repay" service is great or National Rail). I seem to think that Buenchico has commented about Trainline (I could be wrong on this). My own previous experience with them was not great when things went wrong and getting refunds was not always easy.

Yes I know they're not the most reputable company but you can book train operators with the app. I just booked Hull trains to London at back end of August and saved £34.
YMB -I must admit me and my mates have got our fingers crossed (and I took out the £2.34 insurance - which you can do on the app).
