Shaking in a baby - epilepsy?
Hi, we have noticed that our baby who is now 6 months sometimes shakes. The shaking looks like he is very cold and is shaking from it and then after 10 seconds or so it stops. It has happened from being just a month or so old and seems to happen when he is tired but can't say if this is the only time that it happens. He may do this once every 3 weeks or so but could be more often. Have you had similar experiences and what was the outcome? We will be getting tests in the meantime but wanted to know if it happened to your baby. Thx.

Was taken by ambulace to hospital where the doc said it looked like a 'juvenile convulsion' - nothing to worry about. Apparently caused by baby's temperature going over a certain level. Best treatment at home is to try to cool baby down (ccool water or someting like that). She has been having higher temperatures of late due to further teething.
Hope the tests prove nothing drastic.
