I love the idea that she believes globes are 'everywhere'.

I can't remember the last time I saw one, either a physical specimen, or a representation on stage or screen.

Of course the Earth is flat. It's the space around that's curved giving the illusion that it's round. In reality you walk off one side and rematerialise on the other side having not noticed your trip.
