Just a typo by the seller. £11.50 on eBay so I wouldn't be getting any from Amazon
48 trays = 42p each. No idea how much you would usually pay, pasta, but does that seem a reasonable third-off purchase?
Question Author
Barry...not a typo. I'll have a look on eBay
Choux...ahhh you thought the same as me. Currently pay about 60p per tin in the 8-pack.
No...this for just ONE pack of 8...8 TINS! I messaged the seller.
And last night the price was £16...now £20
So glad I didn't order...too many scams lately.
Pasta, off topic but I did do the Bastille day quiz you requested.

have a go first but the answers are at the bottom of page 1.
Amazon groceries are always about double so they can give free delivery. Try putting your normal list through them and see
You're getting six packs of 8 cans each pack ie 48 cans.
(48 cans of 85 gm = 4080 gm. £20 for 4080 gm = £4.90/kgm...which is what the unit price is stated as on the listing).
You can see from the price per Kilo that it is 6 packs of 8 tins.
4.08kg costs £20 this 1kg is £4.90
sorry ging your answer wasn't there when I started mine and got distracted part way through.
I misread it too because I am used to the grocery prices being high....of course no experienced cat owner would buy this...it's guaranteed the moment you do they won't touch the stuff despite wolfing it down for the last week
Question Author
As you can see, the listing is a confusingly worded scam.
I messaged the seller...."It's for 8 tins"
Would have been a bargain as that variety has been discontinued.
Toby will be an unhappy cat.
Someone on eBay is selling 1 tin for 1.99...plus 3.49 postage
I cannot understand their marketing then, pasta as they show the food as £4.90 per kilo :(
OK TTT...just to say that if I ordered from THIS listing, and didn't receive 48 cans, I 'd kick up a hell of a stink with Amazon!
In the reviews people are saying they got 6 cans or 8 cans. Very confusing.
In Tesco one pack of 8 is £4.49. Did you know this line is now discontinued? Be wary of the use by date
Just another con then!
Question Author
Choux...yes! I was doing the maths last night and thought they can't put that there if the listing isn't what it says. Damn liars!

Does anyone know how one contacts Amazon...I've already responded to the seller and said it was deceptive.
Question Author
Barry, I'd just learned yesterday it was discontinued...lots of complaints on manufacturers site.
My daughter is going to pick up some packs for me...its disappeared from store shelves here.
I read the comments at the bottom. Some think it is for 48 pouches and some for 6/8 pouches.

I think Amazon needs to clear this up, it is either a scam or a bargain.

Question Author
I call it a scam wolf.
Actually, I'd call it fraud. The listing is quite clear to me...each box contains eight tins and you're getting a six-pack...48 tins. The unit price confirms this. If you don't get 48 tins, it's fraud, pure and simple.
