Bath Lift

I have an elderly friend who now finds it too difficult to get out of the bath. A belt type bath lift would seem to be an ideal solution and there are a few options to be found on the internet, but none seem willing to give a price range.
If anyone has knowledge or experience of these lifts and their price it would be very helpful.

i was thining about this last night (i know, i should get more sleep)
on those belt ones, you need a very good sitting balance, as they(i think) must only move from one side, meaning you'd have to shuffle along at as it was going down or up?

Hi bednobs, at least some of them have a sleeve over the belt that the belt slides through so avoiding he need for sideways shuffling.
