Quintessentially British
The annual steam rally season is truly upon us.
Do any of you ever visit such rural events?
or are you mainly city slickers?
or perhaps festival goers?
I don't but my brother loves them. At one time in his life he used to make miniature ones in his workshop to order. His customers would run them around their gardens or even estates.
I missed the big two-day Woolpit Steam Rally, just up the road from me, this year. (I think that the weather might not have been too favourable). I've been several times in the past though.
We've got several other steam rallies around here, as well as steam museums in Thursford, Bressingham, Leiston, etc.
