Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Good morning, my wish has been satisfied with this Matakari-friendly EV 1599.
It was quite mild, interesting, and enjoyable for me. I filled the grid in record
time, entering the given letters in the unchecked cells, but am not sure how
or where to draw the line in response to the message. Any help would be
appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

(The perimeter message must be completed ( starting from the top left ) using the letters of SEEMED SLOW FOR CROWD in the unchecked cells. Solvers must draw a line/arrow in response to this message ( taken at time of publication) regarding something going FULL STEAM AHEAD. )

Have you worked out what the perimeter message says?

If yes then google the world record for that thing. and draw an arrow in the centre pointing to that speed!

Bobbin - no - these are just for the blank squares where there are no across or down clues, altogether the phrase consists of 48 letters

Many thanks, JJ109! I am assuming that the letters SEEMED SLOW FOR CROWD must be entered in chronological sequence in the blank cells around the perimeter, and then a message to be worked out from all the letters. This looks like another puzzle in itself. Is this the correct approach?

Matakari, NOT chronological sequence, just use the letters to fill in the gaps, forming words, making a statement.

Matakari, the Azed puzzle is easily accessed through the usual Guardian website (probably where you get the Genius?).

That EV was 'gentle' in the extreme.
