am i wrong???

my 7mnth old daughters father was released from prison in may after doing a year long sentence during which i went through pregnancy alone, our daughter was 3mnths old when he was released.after living with us for 2and half months he then left to be with somebody else. he is now back in prison and looking at a 3/4 year sentence.he has had no financial involvement in her life and has only actively been involved in the few months he lived with us.he is now demanding that i take her to visit but i am reluctant and also that i sign a parental responsibilty agreement so for me not to move abroad which is on the cards.surely if he was so bothered he wouldnt of risked ending up back in there.i want to protect my daughter.am i wrong in keeping her away?
