Why to clothes manufacturers sew labels in their clothes so tightly. They irritate your neck, and when I have tried to carefully cut them out one stitch at a time I have made holes in the garments. Really annoying!

It will cut the stitch on the label side and the label will then just pull off

I already have one of those. Some of the labels are incredibly tight. There is no space between labels and garment on some items to use the stitch remover
You slide the cutter between the visible side of the label and under the stitch. It doesn't matter how tightly the label is sewn on the garment as you don't go anywhere near thw garment itself.
A great source of annoyance to my wife. She is master of cutting out labels without damage even on my clothes.
Mine have light cardboard labels attached with a metal hook. Very easy to detach.
The ones that use nylon thread are particularly irritating. Some I've cut off of camisols left a scratchy 'residue', and I've ended up wearing them back to front.
