Question Author
Sorry link not working. He suffered a heart attack in Spain. England's first £1 million footballer
A day for sad news it seems.

RIP Trevor.

The link's ok Margo.
As a Brummie this is very sad news. I saw him play many times and well remember the £1m signing
Very sad. However, his name will live on (at least on "Gold"TV):

We've got some half priced cracked ice
And miles and miles of carpet tiles
TV's, deep freeze and David Bowie LP's
Pool games, gold chains, wosnames
And at a push
Some Trevor Francis track-suits
From a mush in Shepherds Bush, Bush, Bush,
Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush

:-)
First 1 million player indeed.

And on the day Al Hilal offer over a quarter of a BILLION(!) for Mbappé
Link is ok Margo, still young .
Whenever I hear of a spots man / woman dying like this, I do wonder if the so called experts have it right sometimes, after all we are forever being told to keep active, its good for the heart, well you couldn't get more active than Trevor. His heart problems started 11 years ago it appears.

⁸Jim the jogger did well geoffrey...he lived to his 50s whereas his dad and grandad died of heart problems in 40s and 30s....so fitness probably helped
