What UK exporters also need to be aware of is that each EU country is a sovereign nation and as such can set their own checks criteria on goods arriving from outside the EU. So what might work for sending goods to Germany may not be acceptable for goods destined for the Netherlands, or any other EU nation.

This Brexit thing has become a nightmare for UK exporters - and it's going to get worse.

Folk can make points but they need not be valid ones. And folk who make the same invalid point continually is likely to attract criticism.

In this case everyone knew full well that trading with other nations meant respecting their standards, as they need to respect ours. So exporters who don't like the job of exporting have simply chosen the wrong career. Trying to blame everything on one's favourite dislike isn't reasonable. One should accept when they are wrong and move on.

If you had bothered to read some of the replies to this thread you would see it's nothing to do with what you have written. Why should a few of you be allowed to get away with calling people Stupid, Idiots, Thickos and other derogatory names just because they have a different point of view to the few of you and then these posts are allowed to remain yet others less offensive are removed.

Gulliver only once have I put anything derogatory into one of my posts and that was to you being named after Barcelona airport a good number of years ago. That post was removed almost straight away. Yet yours, Hymies and another poster seem to be allowed to put worse on and get away with it. It should be the same rules for everyone or people as some have already done and that is to leave. Then you would have no one to moan to.

I have been lately on most of their posts bobbi, but didn't think they should be getting away with the names they call people and get away with it when others don't. I don't post as often these days partly because some ask questions or put so called facts on and then can't be bothered to answer any questions they are asked about them. Either that or I get a sarky reply which is nothing to do with question I asked. Not worth the effort.
