My mother did, 2 years ago, but she knew that she was dying.
She was 88
I'm 57 but know that I could expire at anytime.
(Especially given my present lifestyle)
Not like when you're a teenager and life goes on forever.
Thoughts?

It’s sensible - and considerate to those you leave behind.
Resomation for me - i don't like fire. Not morbid at all (I'm younger that nailedit)
Retrocop - if still alive our little singing group does that one - a lovely song. A late vicar had it at his funeral couple of years ago. No-one thought anything of it - some people are a bit warped.

My word. How right you are Naomi. When I was dealing with probate I was so surprised as to how many accounts my mother had opened since my Father died and I was unaware of. I declared her estate as much as I could find from her pass books but some could not be found by me. I was soon told what accounts I had inadvertently not declared and where to find them. I felt like a fraudster which I am most certainly not.
Jourdain,
Oui mon cher,
Reminds me of my dad and Hovis bread. :-)
