The picture is very reminiscent of the kind of erotic sculpture to be found on the walls of certain Indian temples such as the one at Khajuraho. If that were the source, it might represent Shiva and Durga or any one of a multitude of such mythical divine pairings.

I don't know who the couple are ,they look quite happy together;But not as happy as the wee lad in the background.
