Good Sunday morning birdies! well that was a downpour and a half last night ! absolutely teemed it doon..not seen anything like it for a while... lots of local flooding..going to cat rescue open day / fayre today so hoping it stays semi decent for that ..hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to !

Morning bright sunshine here at the moment, showers later but only a few on the radar, nothing planned so if it warms up might just sit on the balcony and read/sew. No big projects at present just lots of smaller things where I am trying new types and styles of embroidery.

lol - not right on the River Dee I hope as it must be bumpy living on a boat on that river....seriously you must have been close to the procession for HM-ER that P. Anne brought down the A93 to the airport.

Ben back a number of times to visit various E&P companies, flying into Diss from The Neths where I was based for a while. When I first knew the gf, her family were living in Diss, the old man working for Brown & Root.

Sometimes the textile artists group I belong to do bigger projects , and there are national ones sometimes. I joined in with a couple at the QE hospital when I was still working. It's nice to see your work exhibited in a public space.

Morning all , divint want ya rain heeding Soof, damp and grey here just now hoping it gets out later, got nothing planned only a Sunday dinner to make and a bit of ironing , well the Lord said we had to rest on the sabbath and who am I to argue with the big man up high :0)

Thank you, I wish I could control my thread addiction, I have thousands. All colours, textures, metallic, glossy, glow in the dark.....I'm like a textile fairy, ooooh sparkly....

I used to love my embroidery box..my granny would buy me lots of wee skeins to do table cloths etc... I had them arranged by colour !

Good morning all x Bright and sunnny here at the moment, but rain is forecast later on this afternoon. We've had 3 days of quite clement weather so I guess we're 'lucky' although it was extremely windy yesterday.
