OK I was suspended on Thursday evening for retaliating to a gulliver insult towards the end of this thread:

...I accept the action but can the mod that did it please explain why gulliver was not also suspended? This is the kind of bent refereeing that undermines this site.

ToraToraTora I do not intend entering into a debate about my decision so this will be my only response.

You posted multiple, clearly personal attacks on another member and that was not acceptable. I can't remember now if there were simliar posts from you in other threads on the same day but given the number of your posts, I decided a suspension for 24 hours was appropriate.

If anyone else had done the same as you to the same degree, I would have suspended them.

There were others posting personal attacks directed towards the same member that I deleted. If I remember correctly, a personal attack was directed at you and I deleted that one too.

You have made your point and I will be closing this thread.
