I need to take extra salt, i add it to food but im not that into the taste so its not enough.
so, i make my own tablets

Ive been re-using expired medication capsule - emptying them out, unfortunately some of them are really small so it takes longer to fill enough of them.

i have blended the salt into a powder, as i was using rock salt & thought it'd be less harsh on my stomach - (especially important since i already have stomach ulcer scar tissue.

I have to fill each by hand, pushing the powder down then fill the gap.

i know you can buy pill makers - but theyre £15-£20 & only does one size - as im reusing old meds i have numerous sizes.

i tried cutting slits in sponge - which works great, but you lose loads of the salt powder into the sponge!

so, has anyone got any better ideas than slits in a sponge?

something to coat the sponge with? Acrylic paint? fabric?

ive tried Instructables.com, to see what i could make, but there was nothing there.
Hard to know what best to use as a search term too.

i tried putting small elastic bands in a criss-cross formation across a small tray - which holds the empty pills well - & is size adjustable - but it doesnt hold them sturdy enough to fill, pat down, finish filling then add the top.

any ideas?

thanks :)
