Hello. Glad to be back. I missed the last two weeks as mummy had guests staying and I was required to help look after them. The Dumb Waiter as I called myself. So no chance of doing the crossie. And , as I’m less than great I quickly got out of the habit and techniques. So I’ve struggled today ( maybe it’s a hard one?). And I‘ve no chance of finishing it tonight before my bath time. I’ve done tolerably well with the bottom half of the puzzle but I’m not doing so well with the top half.
Is the answer to this clue “ consequentiality”: Suspect permit endlessly checks faculty’s composure

We are very well , sir though I’d be glad of a bit of sunshine. The weather here is pretty awful. The wind has picked up and we had a lot of rain on and off.

Well,am I glad that LiK provided the correct answer to my query last night! I’d have struggled ( for obvious reasons) if I’d continued with my answer . And stubborn me, I’d have gone on. But, as it is, I have managed to finish this crossie. I have to admit I didn’t enjoy it much. Funny how some puzzles ( usually ones that make me smile when I get a clever clue) give me real pleasure and others don’t.
Mummy says she knows when I have been working on a good puzzle!
