Bliss. 7 family members visited yesterday - great to see them all but very noisy. Peace and quiet today.................

I'm sitting here with a nice hot coffee, and a bit of 85% chocolate
It's dry outside so I might get out for a walk shortly
All my houseplants are putting out new growth...I love my jungle
The cat is contentedly snoring :)

Been visiting a local NE museum set in acres of greenery , trams, old school,a pit , old shops, going back in time, a very enjoyable morning out

I'm relieved for you, Rowan. I know it stresses you out.

My RBTC are:

1. I go to Turkey in less than two weeks - can't wait to see the little one's face on the water slides.
2. I've just had lovely cuddles with the little one - he's in an affectionate mood today.
3. I've finished by meds and I am feeling loads better - I can breathe!!
4. OH is cooking dinner so that's one less thing I have to worry about.
5. It's the school holidays and the traffic is so much better and I can get to work early and leave early :-)

Well I would be cheerful if I could find the 90g bar of Ferrero Rochas nut chocolate I treated myself to yesterday. I had a visitor coming just as my online delivery arrived so I hurriedly put it somewhere safe (from me, visitor and the dog). Today I've searched again with no luck. That'll teach me to be so tight.

OH has just come in from the garden caked in mud. He stripped down to his underpants ready for the shower, but not before serving me a cup of tea.

Day off everything today.

Three hour nap, going to cook steak and chips for tea.

Then watching TV until bedtime.

No writing at all.

Just had dinner chicken, roast potatoes and parsnips, cauliflower, carrots and green beans picked this morning, now working my way through a punnet of strawberries. Rarely able to cook a proper meal but a lazy day means I had a bit of spare energy.

Time to get on with Ronnie the raven ( my latest embroidery )
