It's the first I've heard of this. Urged by social media but for what reason? Just to cause trouble? It doesn't seem to have been any sort of protest.

It’s up to the government to a) give the police sufficient resources to tackle this type of crime.
b) Change the law to increase the jail. time, then the youths may think twice about rioting ,stealing in plain sight .
