Can you find out where you are on NHS waiting list Scotland?

How does it work? You will receive a text message from the NHS Scotland National Elective Coordination Unit (NECU) on mobile number 07860 039092. This will include a link to a short survey asking if you still need your appointment or operation followed by a few questions to confirm your identity.

Possibly better to assume you're at the back until you get the text message.
Officials and their bosses have one or two things going on at the mo.

I did this personally last week. Phoned the appropriate department and a very kind lady told me the list for a bone density scan was so long it would probably be next year at the earliest. Ah well, at least I know now.

I phoned the relevant Department and have been put in the cancellation queue. Like you Maggiebee the girl was very helpful with the appointments.
