Oh the irony. After surviving years in his home country with all its dangerous spiders, snakes, sharks, etc., an Australian tourist was hospitalised after being bitten by an adder in Cornwall.

Snake must have been privately educated.

Adders have been around in the South all my life thats for sure. They usually slither away from you though and wont kill you (unless you are a one in a million allergy person).
