Good morning Bobbi and all who follow. Is Minty ok I haven't seen her about for a while. We've had a nice few days here weather wise and the forecast is good for the next few - late summer perhaps?

Morning, still busy with an embroidery order, but a full day today, putting new door handles on a friends internal doors, then hosting the coffee morning, hairdressers this afternoon and prepping some forms that I am helping a neighbour with.

Not much stitching until this evening I am going to have to do a couple of very late night's if I want to finish in time

You’re a talented lady Rowan,similar to Lady Janine , she does patchwork quilts, I’ve seen some photos and they’re absolutely beautiful,

I have always been creative but embroidery is something I can do( hands permitting) sitting comfortably, most other things need me to sit at a table to work which hurts my back. Be glad when this is done, pressed and sent back though as I am not really enjoying it.

I'm off to NY in December, for daughters belated 21st which was sidelined because of Covid. I'll do plenty of Christmassy stuff there.

I do think I might book a German Christmas Market for December 2024. I'll have a gander and see what the prices are like in Spring.

Yes, I wouldn’t mind visiting the German market too, there used to be around 12 of us that went all over together, places like Krakow,Berlin,Bruge, Dublin and many more, but things change, one couple divorced and now she’s found happiness again in Scotland, another couple are in the process of selling their home to move in with her elderly Mum who needs caring for so it’s a case of getting us altogether in a time suitable for all of us although I do try to organise a ‘get together’ periodically in our local
