Lost my mobile last night,
Just got another sim (same number)on an old phone.
On my lost phone i was permanently logged in to AB FB gmail etc
trying to change passwords on accounts at the mo.
But on FB after trying to change password it says that
ill be signed in on all devices including my lost phone.

How do i prevent this?

Not what you asked but could be helpful. is it an android and are you with Google/Gmail? If so check Google find my device. It MAY be on there. If so you can remotely lock it and even factory reset it.
Or Find My Iphone

Thanks,
Android and signed in to gmail.

Went to ''Find My Device''
But wasn't there, so presumebly someones had it :-(

Got an option to 'Erase Device'
Would this prevent anyone from accessing my accounts?
Yes it would but 'Find My Device' will not work at all once you do that.
Do you have the option to Lock My Device?
Nailit, put a link to this thread in the Technical section - just in case someone looking there can help.

Thanks all.
Secured device.
Does that mean that all apps
FB GMAIL ets will be inaccesable on lost phone???

Sorry but i'm a complete tech thickie..
It just means that whoever has it won't be able to get past the log in screen.
Question Author
Cheers barry, thats some comfort at least.
What would happen if i select 'Erase Device'?
Would everything disappear from the phone?

Sorry keep asking but ive never lost a phone before.
Its all a bit worrying.
I have just been in Facebook on my PC, opened settings and 'activity log' and logged out on my iPad. Very quick and easy

Thanks,
I'll check it out.
Much appreciated
Erasing device would take it back to factory settings, as if it had just come out of the box. It won't erase anything on the memory card, though, if you've put one in.

I would lock the phone, change my passwords and keep trying to 'locate/find device'.
