Itchy Scalp

I have a constant itch on the left side of my scalp just above my left ear.
There is a small slightly raised 'spot' about the size of small finger nail which feels a bit wart like. My husband says he can hardly see it. Went to Tesco chemist today to see if there was any cream I could put on it. A scruffy looking pharmacist took a look and suggested Nazoral shampoo. It's not particularly painful but it is irritating and I can't leave it alone.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be please?

From your description granny, it could be anything, but doesn't sound a big deal.
Apply 1% hydrocortisone cream to it 3 times a day and if there is no improvement in a week, then see your GP.
