Do I still need permission to use music that has been mixed from adverts due to copyright.

Copyright can be a very comples (and expensive!) business to organise. The best thing to do, is use the sample you want, and put a disclaimer on your site - something like "Reasonable attempts to obtain licence for this sample were made - if there is any copyright issue, please contact the site proiders at -----" and that should cover you. Chances are no-one will know about it, unless your site gets a serious larger number of hits you should be safe enough.
