I bought something on ebay on August 7th. It's supposed to be here today. It's coming from brazil, and the tracking says it's still in brazil. The last update was on August 23rd. I'm afraid it'll never make it here, but maybe it's on its way and I didn't receive any updates for some reason. Should I contact the seller?

No harm in trying. Overseas purchases can take weeks (I had a 10-week wait for China-based stuff).

No harm in doing so. But don't let the eBay time limit on complaints run out.

Of course you should, ask if there is a problem with delivery as it appears not to be in transit yet. I've used that a few times when sellers drag their heels once they have a sale, pushes them on a bit.
