10 years ago I won an afternoon with a John Lewis personal stylist and what fun we had as she looked trough racks of clothes to find what she thought suited me. One item (a Gerry Weber top) I still wear today .. such a versatile item.

Do you have a favourite item of clothing which you never want to part with?

My boxers. Wouldn't be without them. They are the first things I look for every morning. A must for preventing unwanted chaffing and irritation in awkward places. I appear to be alone in that though, here on the bank. It is ever likely that there are so many annoyed posters. :))

I have tried boxers and could never get on with them, so I like those 'trunk' style briefs to keep everything 'in order'.

My very old hip length denim jacket which goes with everything from spring through to autumn. About 20 years old now. I'm such a classy dresser!!

I bought 2 skirts in Littlewoods (Berketex) in 1997 and I still wear them today and still look amazing. Every time I wear them, someone always comments how lovely they are.

A very old, good quality tweed jacket, long and slim-fitting. It was given to me, 2nd hand, just over 30 years ago. It's been dry-cleaned a couple of times - good as new.
