Deed Of Easement
12 Answers
How do you get a copy of a deed of easement? My mum and her neighbour agreed many years ago to change the position of a right of way that went through mums garden to the neighbours house. (1987) They both agreed to have the right of way released and moved to a better position. Both went to solicitors and I have a letter confirming that the land registry had completed registration of the change of right of way. Mums solicitor sent her the deed but unfortunately it seems to be lost. The solicitor does not have it. I don’t need the deeds to the house which I already have, I need a copy of the deed concerning the right of way. I cannot see where on the land registry website I can get this. Can anyone advise, would appreciate any help.

So, you have the Official Copy of the Register of Title (which you downloaded from the l/R presumably). You can see the Deed of Easement and its date referred to on the OC - so on the L/R website there's a section somewhere you can specify documents referred to in the OC. That is useful here is you need to see the route of the new RoW.
