I suspect if a number of posters put all their qualifications on here we might be pleasantly surprised. I estimate there are a number of retired scientists,at least one OT, a couple of physios, a fair few nurses ( between us we cover most of the common specialities)at least two regulars qualified to give legal advice, a couple of gardeners, and The Builder( who...

Ok rowanwitch. Free medical advice is a gift for some when they cant get doctor appointment. Some of the charges on the internet for basic info is getting pretty much over the top.

There are some really good free sites out there but they are hard to find. If possible I will sign post to ones I trust. The condition specific charity sites often have helplines which are free e.g McMillan for cancer, Diabetes Uk, British Heart foundation. Etc.
