Good morning, Birdies. Another week begins. The tiny thing is going back to school today and I start a new, albeit temporary, workload. A colleague has been called up for jury service and I've been asked to do her workload as overtime. I guess it's nice to be given first refusal.

I've left my damn glasses in the car and can't see a thing. I'm going to have to go and buy a pair of reading glasses from the shop! Grrrr.

Ive rang the NSPCC and also the police. The police couldnt believe that she hadn’t rang the police the first night!! They’ve messaged me back and said they will be visiting the property within the hour.

That's very good news, Smow. I just hope the boy isn't too terrified to talk. I hope they deal with the wicked coward.

Redhelen - they said they are v short staffed and so we’re giving me as much info about what would happen now to save me calling back. Not sure how much more I will be able to find out now.
