X Factor last night

Does anyone know what the music was that they used on the first of last nights shows, when it was showing the contestants talking and performing for Sharon for the last time before the final four were selected.

It reminds me of something from Vanilla Sky, not sure though, quite a sad mellow song but very beautiful

supakev, I said it was on x Factor last night, either you watched the show or you didn't!, it was instrumental the bit I heard but it could have vocals, it was sort of synth music but like I said it was only bits of it playing so I can only go off what I heard, I asked the question on the off chance that someone saw it and new the music, you obviously don't so why bother answering, it would only be a guess on your part at by the sounds of it anyway.

This thread here might give you a idea of the lengths people, including myself, go to in order to HELP people like you find the tracks they want from the X factor and it also might give you an idea of the sheer quantity of incidental music played in the show. Yes I did watch it, and no, I haven't got total recall for exactly what happened and when. You were also able to provide further clues to the track, which you could easily have done without being rude.

I did not want to come across as rude,so sorry if thats how you feel, it's just I was hoping someone would know exactly what is was, I'm lazy, I can not be bothered following up a load of peoples guesses, I know some people go to extreme lengths to answer questions but I prefer people to answer if they know for sure, I checked your thread and to be honest the poor person is no nearer to finding out the answer are they.

Anyway just to prove a point I stopped being lazy and found out what the tune was, but thanks for trying, it's quite good this internet thing ain't it
