samsung slide phones

im planning on buying the samsung d600, i was looking at buying it cheaper second hand but im not sure if it would be worth not having a gurantee as my sister had the samsung e350 slide phone and after ten months the buttons on the top half of the slide phone stopped working and i wondered if this has happened to anybody else with a samsung slide phone particularly the d600. thanks

My son had a D600 but has not been happy recently (he's now gone for a Sony 800 'walkman' because the slider stopped working - the buttons all went haywire). That's the problem with any moving parts - probably even 'flip' phones?

i have never had a problem with the samsung slide phone ,i use the slide effect phones all the time and have always found them to be perfect to use ,at present i am using samsung d600e and not a problem in sight

I've had d500 for the last year, and have just upgraded to the z400 - another slide phone. My d500 was the best phone I've had, which is why I went for another similar one.
