If you're a Twitter user, would you pay for it?  I have an account but have never posted on there and rarely read it so it's a 'no' from me.

From what I can see he is proposing just a couple of bucks to help stop the bots.  If it really is a couple of bucks people will pay, make it $60 a year you will loose them.

I've never used Twitter, but I recognised it as an important social media thing.

X is meaningless, and this is another nail in its coffin. I think he's trying to kill it off as a tax loss ploy or something.

I do look on Twitter/X most days, but rarely post. I won't be paying for access. 
What kind of madman spends $44 bn on something like that, anyway? Musk only needs to look at Facebook to see how far things can fall.
