Does Anyone Know How To Stop Mcaphee ,I Don’t Want It , I’ve Never Had The Damn Thing

Every day sometimes twice a day , I get emails some are quite threatening like 'Everyghing you have like phone ,internet will be affected, you'll lose everything' I know it's Spam and I treat it as such , I've tried blocking it ,dumping it as Spam but still I get them daily, I pay 99p a month to Yahoo/ Sky to stop unsolicited emails but still McAphee gets through....any ideas please ?

I doubt you can do much.  If you look at the email address they are from, they are not normally from McAfee or anyone remotely connected with the firm.  They are probably hi-jacked addresses - the idea being that you click on the link and enter your details into the scammers' fake server.

Yes BM, I've checked the addresses and you're right , nothing to do with Macaphee , just so annoying 

I get emails like this, all claiming to be from legitimate companies such as McAfee, Microsoft, PayPal, Netflix .... etc .

They usually inform me that my subscription has ended and I need to renew, or my account has been compromised and I need to log on via their link to rectify things.  Most of mine end up in the junk folder, but a few do make it through the filter into my inbox.  Just ignore them and report them as junk or phishing and remember, never click on any of their links  :)

If the part of the email address after the @ is specific to the sender, @spammer.com maybe, block it in your email filters.  

Obviously don't do that if it is a common domain or email provider such as @yahoo.com

Yes I get lots of the mcFee one (not as in nanny macphee) and now some about my icloud being full. Some must fall for it
