Been told a fence panel & post (maybe 2 posts, it's not clear) at a rented property need replacing, possibly repairing (not sure the latter's a good idea). The letting agent's got a quote of - £320 !! I know costs have soared lately & am trying to get some quotes myself but really ? Is that what it's likely to be ??!

You pay the bribe for the agent in the inflated price. If you are liable for repairs get your own estimate/quote and compare. Keep it a secret from the agent, or the agent will try to prevent you being independant and have the repair done.
If its rented, then is it not your landlord who has to repair it?
Have a look online for a similar panel - probably around £100 if tis a 6ft. The look at the cost of posts. The some postcrete.
Then find sombody - eg. family member(s), friends, neighbours to help remove the old posts and install the new ones. Then attach panel. Finally - paint it!

So if it's one panel, 2 posts and 3 bags of mix, your total cost of materials is around £120.
A handyman would do this in a few hours, depending on if there are any existing stubborn concrete posts to dig up etc, so maybe £100 for labour ??
So I reckon you could possibly knock £100 off that quote from your letting agent.
