Good day, NACW, you were quite right! I keep enjoying Fieldfare’s neat clues and the end games. I had some misgivings about 10a until Jules Verne enlightened me. It looks like an omen, speaking anagrammatically! Got some trouble parsing 21a APACE. But I’m quite happy with this week’s Spectator offering! Looking out for Chalicea in the Crossword Centre for October, the Genius,  and of course this Sunday’s EV.
