Reasons To Be Cheerful

1.  I finish at 13:00 so I can fetch my little chap from school 

2.  OH has gone to his Bezzer's for the weekend (Ryder Cup)

3.  I am having my hair done tomorrow (will have lots chopped off)

4.  It's payday

5.  I got a very good parking space today (it's the little things!)

yes ,since lock down and they got him off the streets  he has come on leaps and bounds x

Mally, I have been with my son and my daughter tonight, I can't tell you how special that is, having my two kids together after such a long estrangement, so I am so over the moon for you

I spent the day sitting in the warm sun in a beautiful garden.

 

No no, not mine, but West Dean Gardens.  Includes a walled veggie garden with some wonderful crops (always makes me envious compared to my feeble efforts in this respect).

The icing on the cake, my return journey (bus,train,bus) all went smoothly, very unusual.

At writing Group this morning I read out my story  (theme was build up of conflict) and there was silence when I finished.  After about a minute (felt like hours) I said, somewhat worriedly, 'Was it that bad?' 

You've guessed - 'No, it was that good' was the response --- still on cloud 9 from that.

Also my sister (husband's funeral was on Mon.) has pulled together enough to go to HOYS with a friend and daughter (daughter has qualified a horse and will be riding).

OH (90) is feeling well and walking me off my feet and one of his legs has completely healed of ulcer.  Yeahh!

Lots and lots of reasons to be cheerful.  :)
