Wonderwoman - another thing we do here in the USA is call the very same sandwich by many different names - some of it depends on the part of the country you live in - but some of it is just another one of our quirky things. The exact same sandwich is called subs, heroes, hoagies, grinders and po boys (po is really the word poor shortened - but pronounced like one of the teletubbies) - it can have any kind of meat or even have fried oysters and/or shrimp. Yes, we ARE a confusing country :)

BBWCHATT - we do it here in the UK aswell, a bread roll can be a bread roll, a batch, a barm cake, and I'm sure many other names, depending on where you live.
