Is There A Way To Open .!Qb Files - Which Are Unfinished Downloads In Qbittorrent?

I can play various videos in VLC player that have not finished downloading - as long as theyre almost finished, if theyre on something like 97-99% done, they play but theres the occasional blank spot, only for a few second.

but i can't open PDFs or most other types of file.

when i did a search it just kept bringing up QuickBooks instead.

I have quite a few that have been almost finished for ages.

My pure guess is that you probably need to know how to edit it to insert an end-of-video code near the end somewhere.

Of course if it's coded/compressed that might make it appear an undecodable data file.

Thanks all.

Its not just for video files, it for any download that hasnt finished downloading.

VLC plays them, theres just a bit of sound or bits of footage missing, depending on how nearly finished it is.
ive watched a whole TV series that was stuck on 98% & didnt miss much.
However there are also applications, ebooks, images, games, etc that are stuck on 'almost done' so VLC is no use for them.
The above link mentions turning off the .!qb file type labeling, so i'll try that.
