France has always had rail strikes (and air strikes) as far back as when I lived. there in the 60's

Not finicky at all.  I assumed you hadn't seen the other thread.  Who'd a guessed a thread with this title posted in this section would be about rail strikes?  And you such a stickler for good moderation too.
