I got it in 4 this morning.  When I do solve it I usually take 4 or 5 tries.

likewise. My sister has pointed out to me, however, that there are online archives listing all the words previously used, which won't be used again, which has saved me some time and guesswork

My sister has a pretty astonishing record of getting it in two guesses; I've supposedly done it four times, but I only remember two.

Good little game. Got it in 3 today. I struggle watching Lingo (same concept) as I shout at the TV when people repeatedly use letters that are not in there. Playing wordle, though, I understand sometimes you need to use a redded out letter every now and then just to narrow my options down.

I believe there are less than 3,000 words of 5 letters.  Eventually I'll solve Wordle in 1…

15000 words according to Wordle - a few thousand of them will be the US spellings of words like 'labour' and 'colour' 😕
