How many posters on here wish they had the power to Ban posters they don't like, or disagree with what they say.  And would like AB just for themselves and their chosen posters ? A chums club .

My response was a simple statement of fact, nothing more, I've said the same for decades to people who think that originating a disucssion gives them ownership of it.

People would not claim to 'own' a face-to-face exchange of opinions, so they shouldn't expect to be able to do it on here.

Anyway, to answer the header, people I don't like on Answerbank.

I don't know other posters, only the version of themselves that they want others to see. Some of it is so OTT as to be utterly fantastic, in the fantasy sense. x

I don't dislike anyone on here. One or two irritate me at times but that's life - no need to dislike them, especially as I occasionally agree with them (or vice versa).

It gives me a very warm feeling on the (admittedly very rare) occasion when a usually-implacable-opponent posts something in support of my view. Yes, it does happen. [how nice that we can italicise more than once per answer now].

There have been a few posters I don't particularly care for but I've never sought to have posts removed or posters banned. I think it is better to let the world see them as and for what they are.

Some posts (perhaps this one included) are simply not worthy of a response.
