The Happy Thread

I'm well aware that I can be one of the most negative posters on here at times. But lets turn that around....

This morning I received a call from the detox unit to ask a few questons pre admission. At last things are on the move.

 

My 68 year old sister and her newly engaged fiancie paid a visit. Never tought that she would find love again after nearly 5 decades of marriage to a bloke that she adored until his death 2 years ago. Absolutely made up for her (And him)

 

Recieved a phone call of a very good friend that I dont see that often. Its the little things that matter....

Going to spend the weekend with my son, his GF & my granddaughter. Whats NOT to like?

 

Got a text of my previous boss to the effect that my previous employment is still a viable option to return to if I get well enough again in the coming months.

 

Thats my day, what about yours?

Went for a good walk with friends this morning. Saw a bit of nature. Some rain but so what.

If you can just find one or two things to be thankful for, even if they are small things. I am a great believer in that.

I've spent the morning in our Oxfam shop, doing the accounts (got into trouble for saying that I was cooking the books) and preparing books to be sold online.

It is nice and sunny here and there is no rain.

Me?  Well a box appeared on my doorstep yesterday with a brand new beautiful pair of sandals in it.  My size, and very expensive.  Nobody is admitting to putting them there.  Hmmmm.
