Does anybody watch The Repair Shop on BBC ?? If anybody does, could they please let me know what the desktop work lamps that some of the experts use are called ?? I can't really think of any other way of describing these lamps !!

Possibly off-topic (but not off-subject), I was very disappointed only last week on making my first post-lockdown visit to Weald & Downland Living Museum at Singleton to find that the large building which used to house an extensive amount of plumbing equipment is now out of bounds as it is where Repair Shop is filmed. A small amount of the plumbing stuff is displayed in a much smaller building, the rest presumably in store somewhere. I would imagine the Museum makes a lot of money out of Repair Shop so I guess it's a fair trade-off from their point of view, but disappointing from mine.

I do a lot of very fine parchment crafting, and have always used Ottlite lamps.
They are bright daylight lamps and come with or without magnifying facility, and in numerous forms. I can thoroughly recommend the brand.
