I've just been made redundant (working until the end of June) and have also been told that my landlord needs to sell my house so I'm in a huge hurry to find another job. I've added my CV to Monster, Top Jobs, Friends Reunited jobs, Fish4, and Hot Recruit. Does anyone know of any other good job sites or any advice on how to find a job sharpish.

Did quite a few different jobs until I was eventually taken on at the head office of a building society.
My advice is, don't be too particular with what you will or won't do. Temping gives you a chance to see what various local firms are like, and I'm sure you will get that permanent job eventually.
Wishing you good luck.

Thanks. I did go to some temping agencies at the end of last week but they won't take me on until a week before I am due to finish here and I'm petrified they won't have any work for me if I haven't found a job by then. I'm not fussed about what job it is but the money side of things is a huge factor, especially now as I'm going to have to move house.
Take anything you can get, remember the golden rule: it's easier to get a job from a job...
You may find that you need to expend more effort finding the job than you will need to actually do the job, but hey, it'll be worth it and you will only be in crisis for another couple of weeks - then you will be flying high and enjoying the summer with no worries.
Good luck!
That depends what sector you're looking for really. I find www.jobsgopublic.com and www.reed.co.uk useful. I'm eagerly job hunting at the moment having just left uni - if there's a site out there, I've probably used it, so if you know what kind of job you're looking for I might have a few more saved in my favourites!
Where do you live? I know there are temping agencies out there who will take people on with literally a day's notice.
On another note, the law is on your side with your landlord - if you don't have anywhere else to go (I assume the problem is raising a deposit with no income) he cannot sell the house from under your feet. Explain the situation to him and he literally has to let you stay until you have somewhere else to go.
