Until tomorrows click and collect so we're having a quiche from the freezer, some microwaved red onions I unearthed from the veg basket and which appear to be edible, and a tin of sweetcorn.
What about you, I bet your evening meal is better than ours...π§ π½ππ

Tilly, I just quarter the onions and put them in a bowl with a little water and zap them till they're tender, maybe about 6 or more minutes, just keep trying them till they're soft and tender. They lose the strong onion taste and turn sweet, I like a bit of salt on them.
Ginge, the quiche was very nice actually, it was the lack of accompaniments I struggled with...fresh veg particularly. It was an m&s quiche which I popped in the oven for 20 minutes once it was defrosted.
I used to make shepherds pie with a mashed cauliflower topping with grated cheese in it, must give it another go, it was v tasty.
Well, everyone's meal sounds really nice, we quite enjoyed ours, tomorrow will be a proper dinner with lots and lots and lots of veg π₯¦π«π₯¬π₯and gravyπ
I answered toosoon! Part-way from cookingsausages and chips there was a loud BEEPand everything bar the lights went off!
Neighbour, retired electrician, got everything back on except for hob and oven! I shall petition the Pope for cannonisation for him shortly.
So a motley experiment of toaster, v.small airfryer & 22-yr-old microwave with all instructions rubbed off through use eventually resulted in an edible meal, I think.
