Buenchico/A strange thing occurred last night when using my Chromebook - when typing, the screen suddenly went blank and I had to sign in again.  It was then I noticed that the side panel (where it states, cut, copy, paste,etc) had completely changed format from what it had originally been!  Any idea what would have caused this?

Would it close off to do that? Notification of Chrome updates usually are visible in a box on screen.

My guess is that you inadvertently tapped a key or a combination of keys that triggered the change, or tapped somewhere within the side panel.
