To change the address that you've got registered with AB, you can go to 'View your profile' (at the top right of this page) and then 'Edit my profile'.  Once there, you can enter your new email address into both fields and click 'Submit'.

However I'd actually recommend that you DON'T change the email address that you've got registered with AB.  If you do, you'll lose your lovely avatar of Maxie (unless you also create a new Gravatar profile, using your new email address to do so).

You'll still be able to use AB with a redundant email address registered here anyway.

I have to change it unfortunately as the computer guy spent two hours trying to get into Microsoft via phone last weekand all he got was robots. He was in my house the whole time.  Microsoft want me to verify my landline and we do and micro keeps on going over and hundreds of going over the verification refuses to acknowledge  and also will not to speak to repair lad all robots.   If I want my maxie I won't know what to do as I haven't a baldy about gravatars. Ps. Nowhere to change the number to get verified

There's absolutely no need for you to have anything to do with Microsoft at all.

As long as you've got the SAME email address registered with AB and Gravatar, your avatar of Maxie will still appear here on AB.  (It matters not one jot as to whether it's an email address that you actually use).

To avoid using a Microsoft email address (i.e. one ending in hotmail.com or outlook.com) altogether, simply get yourself a new email account with GMX and then log into the GMX website when you want to access that account.

I'm thinking ed told me last week to change password so perhaps I can still hold onto my current email to keep my wee son's photo but maybe if the fella has to give a whole other email. Am o iPad and inhate it causes me RSI

Yes Chris but I need to change it to get into outlook\emails.  From you is that all I will have to change it. Then just have to let friends\emailers the new email address. Will that be right.  If so. 😁
