Yes Ladybirder!  I hope your little man achieves the same miraculouse recovery as Miss Emily!!  

Nothing, Brainiac.  I pay a monthly fee for them and get all their worming and flea stuff and 2 consults with a vet and 2 with a nurse per year.  Just £21 for the drugs.  

If she does not continue to improve (and she is presently standing on the back of the sofa giving the builder's dog the evils), she is insured.

Good news Barmaid.  I was worried that her back might be severely damaged, hence not able to walk.  It very much seems she is recovering well.  Lots of hugs to Miss Emily and to you. Xx

The vet today has put my boy on a strict 5 minute walk twice a day for 2 weeks, plus rest, rest and more rest.  He's sore in his right and left hip, some mild motability in left knee also possible ligament issue. Arthritis in hips. He was screaming when she was moving his limbs and bit her.  It didn't break the skin but she then put a muzzle on him.

He refused to walk at all so she couldn't see how he held his back left leg up.  I had to drag him in there and he wouldn't let me console him.  What a performance, I'm cream crackered let alone him. It's going to get worse because he just loves to be out walking on the Downs and in the Parks around here.  Two weeks to look forward to and he has been given pain killers so he will want to go out.  Grrr!
