I like blue and green stones but wouldn't want a jewel that I couldn't wear without security guards as accessories!   I doubt the insurance would allow you to wear it under any other circumstances.

It is very pretty though, but I will stick to things I can wear.

A wish that next year would be better than the last two years which have been the worse in our lives.  I don't want anything else.  We don't do christmas anyway.  We gave it up years ago.

More seriously, for Christmas I would love a fairy to come and do a deep clean and tidy of the house.  My back hurst so much if I do more than 10 mins.  housework.  Other wish is for Mr.J2's leg wound to finally heal - been part of our lives for 11 yrs. now & we feel it's outstayed its welcome!

That could be done ... not a fairy, exactly, but many cleaners will do a one-off "deep clean" for a price.

Not my cup of tea. As far as jewellery is concerned, I'd much rather have some ethnic pieces in silver and turquoise or jade.

Like jourdain, I'd love a deep clean of my flat. I'm slow at cleaning, and find it difficult to have my whole flat clean at once...never mind 2 rooms!

Same here Pasta.  I've never liked gold or diamonds.  Always silver and coloured stones of various types.  Mind you I rarely wear jewellery.  I don't wear a wedding ring!  People assume I'm not  married.
